Bart is an award-winning songwriter and creative coach best known as the frontman and principal songwriter of the critically acclaimed band The Sheer. Over the years, he has also contributed to projects such as Baskerville, Bade, and The Astral Twins. In addition to his own work, he is a deeply respected songwriter, offering his experience and songwriting skills to artists and bands that inspire him, working with artists such as Douwe Bob, Chef’ Special, Merol etc…

Van Liemt has built extensive experience as a music supervisor, actively pursuing opportunities in sync placements, bespoke productions, and artist-to-brand partnerships. He specializes in creative song placement for films and series and contributes to crafting the perfect title tracks such as ‘Weg Van Jou’ and ‘Alles Is Zoals Het Zou Moeten Zijn’. Bart also has worked for clients such as Apple, Vodafone Ziggo, Sol, Liberty global, UEFA, Bavaria, ING, Plus supermarkt, Gamma etc…. He loves supporting songwriters in reaching their full potential and thus keeping a keen eye on (new) talent.

Recently, Bart released his first solo single under his own name, Here’s To Forever, reaffirming his continued relevance as a songwriter and performer within the Dutch music scene.
